The 2024 tariff for our “Walk The Kerry Way” Holiday is €1,020 per person sharing a room.
CELTIC NATURE EXPEDITIONS is delighted to offer this 7-day, self-guided walking holiday along The Kerry Way in County Kerry, Ireland. You’ll enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Iveaghragh peninsula, known worldwide as the Ring of Kerry, at your own pace, without the hassle of carrying luggage or searching for accommodation and meals. And your holiday can begin on any day you wish as there is no group schedule to contend with.
Once you’ve booked your Kerry Way walking tour holiday, you can relax and savour the walking, knowing that we’ll handle all the details. We’ll arrange 7 outstanding B&Bs, a fabulous homecooked dinner, all your lunches except one. We’ll have your luggage waiting for you at the end of every day. And well before you head off for Ireland, we’ll send you a complete itinerary, detailed routemaps, and several books with local information.

Day 1: Arrive Killarney Bus/Train station and stay Killarney - the home of the stunningly beautiful Lakes & Torc waterfall & Oak woods
Day 2: Walk Killarney to Black Valley through the breath taking Killarney National Park - approx 13 miles/21km. Transfer back to Killarney - stay Killarney.
Day 3: Transfer to Black Valley and walk to Glencar - 12 ish miles/19ish km - Stay Glencar. – challenging day but with gorgeous mountain landscape in the guise of the highest mountain range in Ireland - The Mcgillicuddy Reeks. Lakes and Valleys abound.
Day 4: Glencar - Glenbeigh – 11 miles/17km - stay Kells - woodland walks and Caragh Lake and river. (Transfer from Glenbeigh to Kells)
Day 5: Kells - Caherciveen - stay Caherciveen, - beautiful coastal walks with views of the Dingle Peninsula - approx 9 miles/15km as shortened by staying in Kells as opposed to Glenbeigh - 17 miles/28km
Day 6: Caherciveen – Waterville – stay Waterville (Charlie Chaplin used to holiday here!)- This is a difficult stage at approx 17 miles/28km. It can be shortened to approx 13 miles/21km. It is quite boggy and thus heavy underfoot.
Day 7: Waterville – Caherdaniel – coastal walk –approx 8 miles/13km and so a lovely easy day following previous day! This is an extremely scenic walk culminating in some of the most beautiful scenery in the world - Caherdaniel Bay – a scattering of tiny islands.
Day 8: Well done! You have completed a large part of the longest way marked way in Ireland! - Depart to Killarney Bus/Train Station
